Meet Dr. Raul Rodriguez

“I have been a physician for almost 48 years and I am very proud of that to this day, I love what I do as much as I did my first day as an Emergency Physician. There is an indescribable feeling that comes with helping a patient feel better as a result of having been in my care. I am particularly moved and satisfied when I can help those who are downtrodden or have little voice.”

Dr. Raul Rodriguez is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina and joins M.D. Express Urgent Care as an Emergency Physician. He has performed numerous residencies in a variety of areas of medicine which has provided him the experience and expertise to develop keen skills and intuition for properly diagnosing patients in an urgent care setting.

He has worked in other medical subspecialties such as general surgery, neurology, neurosurgery and cardiology where he has implemented field protocols for EKGs and related interventional treatment as the Medical Director of Prince William County. Emergency Medicine allows Dr. Rodriguez to stay closely associated with neuroscience while pursuing his passion for the diverse, non-routine environment of the emergency room.

Dr. Raul Rodriguez is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for patients seeking urgent medical care and rendering the most appropriate medical treatment as well as a listening ear and kind words. He also enjoys the academic setting through teaching doctors and residents.

Outside the office, Dr. Rodriguez and his wife enjoy spending time with their four children and three grandchildren. Currently, they are renovating their home where he and his wife love to kayak and watch nature. They enjoy walking/running to keep in shape and stay in touch with neighbors. Dr. Rodriguez is an avid reader and a lover of all music.
